MINNEAPOLIS, March 22, 2021 – Player’s Health is proud to announce the creation of the Player’s Health Foundation. The Player’s Health Foundation was founded to help make sports safer for all who want to play. Our mission is to help make a safe sports environment accessible for all kids. There are many forces that seek to divide us, but especially in the last year, we have seen how sports can unite us and be a vehicle for meaningful change. We at the Player’s Health Foundation have the lofty goal of reducing abuse statistics in sports by 50% in 5 years, and we need your help to do it.
To kick things off, the Player’s Health Foundation is launching a clothing store to raise awareness for Child Abuse Prevention Month during the month of April. All proceeds will go to the Foundation and will be donated to Player’s Health organizations through the funding of background checks, training, incident reporting, and more. Sweatshirts, long sleeves, and t-shirts are available to purchase here:
The Foundation will partner with non-profit organizations and for-profit companies in order to work toward achieving the Foundation’s goal of reducing abuse statistics in sports by 50% in 5 years.
